Jr. Facilities Modifications/Coordinator


As a leading partner with the Lone Star Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence and Innovation (LSUASC), a UAS test site for the Federal Aviation Administration, we are seeking a Jr. Facilities Modifications/Coordinator to join the LSUASC team of top-flight engineers and other professionals focused on innovative solutions for the purpose of integrating UAS into the national airspace.


Description:
Participates in all phases of the development to assure that technical and programmatic needs are understood and given appropriate priority. May assist team leads in program planning, and scheduling of project & assets to accomplish technical and programmatic objectives. This includes, project planning/status, configuration management, asset scheduling, cost effects and control, quality assurance and program audits. Also included is the test planning, preparation, conduct and data regression analysis both from a technical and programmatic standpoint. Understands engineering product/services and how they relate to program goals and objectives. Also maintains knowledge in test planning, asset scheduling, safety, environmental, information technology or other related high technology fields.


Job Responsibilities include:

Coordinates facilities modifications and provides oversight for all IT and Facilities construction
Experience in construction required specifically with the State of Texas and according to TAMUS rules


Basic Qualifications:

No degree with 9 years of job related experience or Associates Degree with 7 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in technical or management field with 5 years of related experience
Strong administrative skills and background
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
U.S. Citizenship required

Jr. HAZMAT and Materials Specialist

Support the development of key requirements and design documentation as they pertain to environmental & Materials areas and mitigation plans including identification of resources for conducting Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) operating procedures for program elements like the Command and Control Facility, Mobile Command Center and Launch and Recovery Sites

Perform IV&V and review of Policies, Procedures and Plans
Provide detailed gap analysis report, PowerPoint brief and meeting out-brief to LSUASC Management

Jr. Software Engineer

Description:
Work with systems engineer to determine requirements. Assist in the design, development, and test solutions. Contribute to architecture, code, and program reviews as required.


Job Responsibilities:
Contribute to the application of engineering and scientific principles to meet technical requirements.
Assist in the development of technical concepts, planning for implementation, and monitoring of technical progress. Support designs, tests, and assesses performance data. Contribute to the development of solutions to technical problems.
Assist senior engineers
Assist in the production of technical reports and other technical products, such as overall project concepts and descriptions, test plans, and technical reports.


Basic Qualifications:
No degree with 9 years of job related experience or Associates Degree with 7 years of related experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field with 5 years of related experience
C++ , C# and Java programming skills
Technical writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of UAS, its issues, challenge, and opportunities
Understanding of software engineering principles
U.S. Citizenship required
